Customize Your Snapcode in Photoshop

June 28, 2016

One of Snapchat’s coolest’s features is your ability to take a screenshot of another user’s “snapcode” and add them as a friend quickly, without searching or typing by username. I never shared mine much though because I hated the bright yellow icon!

Recently I started to see customized versions, often used as Facebook Profile Pictures- and I thought that was pretty genius! So I searched online for how to customize your snapcode using photoshop, so that I could do it too! I came across this really easy to follow tutorial HERE, and wanted to share it with you here!

This tutorial will show you how to change the color of your snapcode, and how to add a profile picture of your choosing! It was so easy that I created a bunch to use! (whoops, totally not on the REAL todo list today! But it was really fun!)

If you are new to snapchat and not sure how to add friends by snapcode, it’s really easy!

Follow these simple steps:
  1. Open up Snapchat.
  2. Select the ghost icon in the top middle of the screen.
  3. Select Add Friends.
  4. Select Add by Snapcode.
  5. Select the photo of the snapcode from your albums.

Easy Peasy! Here’s a more detailed link if you like visuals.

Not sure about using Snapchat as a business owner yet? I wrote two other additional blog posts that you can read HERE & HERE!

Go ahead and try it! If you are reading this post on your phone, just take a screenshot of either one of my snapcodes above, and I will see you over there!
