From Where I Stand | Connection Portrait from Branford CT Wedding

I was beyond honored to be asked to second-shoot a summer wedding with Kathleen Clipper this past June. I met Kathleen through     Pursuit 31, and have greatly enjoyed her friendship in the industry! Christian and Jesslyn could not have been a greater couple to work with. Their beautiful outdoor wedding was held at Woodwinds in Branford, CT. It was such an amazing experience meeting new faces!

Before the wedding, Kathleen invited me to step in and capture the couple’s portraits as I see them for a few minutes following the ceremony. She knew I was rebranding to specialize in Connection Portraits, and welcomed me to capture that on this day. I was elated at the very opportunity. I mean, have you seen Jesslyn? I could photograph her all day long! She’s stunning!

I really fell in love with everything about this photograph. How timeless and gorgeous she is. How you can just barely see the lace of her stunning dress. His nearness. Her delicate pearls. Their beautiful, beautiful love. Their irreplaceable connection and bond that will stand the test of time.
