When I first started in photography, I was so overwhelmed by trying to figure out which brands everyone was using that I would see online. From how to make a website, to which album company I should be using, to where I even buy shipping boxes. All I knew was that I really loved taking pictures- I had no idea where begin for vendors to work with.

This was only a few years ago, but so much has changed in the industry since then. Instagram and social media has opened up a lot of brand awareness, and I have found a lot of the vendors I love through accounts there! Photographers are also much more willing to share about the brands they have had a good experience with as well. That wasn’t always the case- it used to be frowned upon when new photographers would ask the seasoned pros where they bought their stuff. I am so glad things are different now!
