Yesterday, I was chatting with my wonderful photographer friend Emily Lapish about rebranding. She was sharing on how she had hired a designer for the very first time in all her years as running a ( amazing I might add ) photography business. I was in total support as I had recently done the same. In fact, working with a graphic designer for my rebrand venture was hands down the best decision I ever made. It allowed me to simply share my heart for my business and where I wanted it to go, and she helped put all those little pieces together.

The first step was creating an inspiration board on what I wanted Tiffany Farley the brand to feel like. You can read that post HERE.

The second step was logo design. The collection I invested in included five rounds of logo proofs. HOORAY for options. After all, something as small as font makes a HUGE difference. I wanted everything to be perfect, and I am horrid at making decisions. I honestly expected the process to be quite back and forth for awhile with me having no idea what I wanted.

Surprisingly, that was not the case. I was already super confident in my designer when she sent me my inspiration board because it was SO me and I was amazed that she was able to interpret my rambling so well. ( That’s a gift you know ) But then she sent me my logo proofs couple weeks ago. I was driving through the Starbucks drive thru, which is obviously an ideal place to check one’s email, and there they were. The poor barista, by the time I got to the window, I was a squealing mess. I think “Oh. My. God” was repeated about……50 times. It made the entire rebrand SO real. I kept thinking, “This is happening, this is REALLY happening!”

With a few minor revisions, I took the best of what I liked in my top choices, and she sent me a full logo set that is to DIE for.


My favorite part, is that it is a SET. Not just one logo that I have to make fit on everything. She gave me three folders full of different pieces that I will be using throughout my brand and gave suggestions on how I can mix and match the separate elements but still maintain that ONE thing I was going for above all, CONSISTENCY.

My entire heart is being poured into this rebrand, and if anything it has proved to myself that I am all in this thing. That I love what I do and am beyond excited for the road ahead. That the hours spent preparing for the launch and making sure everything is better and that the client experience is exceptional will be well worth it. I am shooting for a launch by the end of July, beginning of August. And boy, will there be a celebration.

I am beyond elated at what the rest of the brand is going to look like. All props go to my amazing designer, Ravyn of 315 Design. Seriously love this girl. It was such an important investment for me, and she has made me feel taken care of every step of the way and totally understood my vision from the start. I feel like the luckiest girl ever to work with her.
