It’s as if my hand may stop holding the camera as I go through my normal everyday routine, but my mind never puts it down. It seems that everywhere I look I am without thinking, already framing the shot in my mind. I cannot look at golden light, a vast ocean, or a cobblestone street without imagining the photograph.

My mind is always holding the camera. 

This time, for this session, part of me came alive. As I was for one of the first times, REALLY photographing what I wanted, how I wanted, even if it was crazy. I had always wanted to photograph a bride in the ocean.

So. I did.
