There was a season of building my business where having a natural light studio to shoot in was all I could think about. I felt so unprofessional next to these seeminly “established” newborn photographers.

Man am I glad that I was able to experience making what I had work for me- and finding my own focus– because I never would have discovered how irreplaceably special it is to photograph mamas and their little ones- in the very house they brought them home to.

Whether it’s a forever home or just for a season, the house you bring your babies home to will always be so meaningful- and I wouldn’t trade that kind of backdrop for all the studios in the world. Photographs to remember.
