It has been a busy week around here as I officially moved into my new space just outside of Pittsburgh, PA! Shortly after arriving I received an inbox full of black and white film scans from this recent in home newborn session, and couldn’t wait to share them here on the blog. This was such a special session!

I met Stacia not long after moving to Maine as she is a professional hair and makeup artist based in Portland. (She’s the best and the majority of my clients in Maine have worked with and loved her!) Their story of becoming parents to this little squish is so incredible- waiting 8 years to have to her. Her name is Maris- meaning “of the sea”, which is so fitting seeing as how her Dad is a local fisherman! I had the honor of snuggling with her while we got ready for our shoot (a definite perk of my job!) and I am thrilled to share just a few personal favorites here on the blog with you. 

I am next heading to Northern Maine, Connecticut, and New York over the next week to meet and photograph three more tiny bundles in their home. I am currently booking in home newborn, maternity, and family portrait sessions in the greater Pittsburgh area! I will be making a couple different trips to the Northeast and Coastal Maine both this summer and fall, and spots are already filling- so please be sure to reach out to reserve your session.
